Cycling: E-Bike - 3rd Friday

The  'E-bike' group events will be cycled at a similar pace to the ‘Cycling for Pleasure Group.’ The group will meet on the 3rd Friday of each month. The events will include routes which are up to Level 5 on the Costa Brava U3A Cycle Guidelines
Any members who wish to join the group should either have ‘E’ bikes or be able to tackle routes up to Level 5 on the Costa Brava U3A Guidelines on their normal bikes.

It is anticipated that  routes would be in the range of 25-35 Kms.
We anticipate that the groups ‘E’ routes will be primarily on minor metalled roads or dedicated cycle paths. They will need to be accurately described, and when possible aggregated elevations made known.

As in all other groups, each member will be expected to organize & lead the occasional route. This gives the group the opportunity to experience the more varied and interesting routes afforded by the use of ‘E’ bikes. All members can access the New ‘E-Bike Group’ under GROUPS on the U3A Website.  Those members who would like to join the group please contact Norman and Yvonne through the email facility on that group page or simply by emailing.
