We are a group of enthusiastic men and women. Our group actively encourages participation from all its members. This can take many forms from demonstrations, planning an outing, skill sharing with members getting their hands dirty or organising a ‘bring a plate’ on a specific theme.
We meet on the third Thursday of each month in a different members’ house.
Our meetings always end with a sampling of the dishes created in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
The expenses are shared between the members present. If you have to cancel after the shopping has been done then you will be asked to make a contribution to that cost.
Topics covered have included Burmese, typical American food, goodies from Crete and West Indian dishes with Rum Punch, German, Morrocan, Icelandic, Japanese, English pub food, American cocktails, Vegetarian, etc. We have attended local cooking schools in Girona and Palafrugell and the fish museum and cooking school in Palamos.
If you are unable to fulfil your commitment for any reason please try to swap with someone else later in the year.
