NEW MEMBERS.
You are now members of the Costa Brava U3A. It is time for you to decide which of the following groups interest you and you would like to join. The group coordinator describes the activities and other important information on their group page so have a look. Once you decide which groups you would like to join please email the coordinators. This is very easy to do as on each group page, just under the coordinator contact details there is an envelope,
click on it and an email will open for you to complete to request group membership. You will need to do this for each group you would like to join. This email goes directly to the coordinator and contains all your contact details.

The Group meets in the BAR SEVILLA in L'ESCALA on the first Friday of the month at 2.30pm
There is a small charge of 1€ per person, this is to cover the cost of heating/air conditioning. Additionally we will have the convenience of being able to order refreshments during the meeting
|

|
|
Each meeting has a topic or theme; these are wide ranging and have included biographies, historical novels, thrillers, travel, humour and many more, (the topic at our last meeting being Animals). Your choice does not have to be book which we have all read. Each member chooses their own book pertaining to the subject for the month, give a short synopsis of the story and reads a paragraph or two to illustrate the ‘bones’ of the book. (please see below)

There is also an opportunity to borrow some of the books brought, (we have a recorded lending system). There is nothing highbrow or ‘stuffy’ about our meetings, we have a lot of fun. So, if you love reading books and discussing them, then why not join us?
